Discrete Group Effect
A Discrete Group Effect is selected by the menu selections FillCol, Group Effect, Discrete choices. The current column plus enough additional columns are filled with a discrete group effect, repeated as necessary to fill the columns. A group effect is set up as ones repeated for the number of re-encounter occasions, followed by zeros repeated for the number of re-encounter occasions. As an example, suppose the following design matrix is on the screen, consisting of all zeros, and there are 2 re-encounter occasions and 2 groups. The cursor is in the highlighted(underlined) cell.
