Strata Names

In the multi-strata design, each stratum must have a unique label that is coded in the encounter history (strata labels) when an animal is encountered in that stratum. To provide a more detailed description of the statum, the strata name is provided. Thus, each stratum must be identified with a label and a name. The stratum label is limited to a single character.
