About the FPS-CSU Student Chapter
The Colorado State University (CSU) Student Chapter is the local unit of the Forest Products Society (FPS)
. The FPS is an international not-for-profit technical association
founded in 1947 to provide an information network for all segments of
the forest products industry from standing tree to finished product.
The CSU Student Chapter officially re-formed in the Fall 2007 semester.
The student chapter engages in outreach to the student body through
meetings, fundraising activities, and networking events, including a
faculty-student bowling tournament and preparing students for national
convention.
