Session A4 at the joint International Rangeland and International Grassland Congresses (IRC/IGC) focused on Indicators for Sustainable Use and Conservation of Grasslands/Rangelands Resources. Countries in Five areas of the world reported on activities relating to Criteria and Indicators of Sustainability. These papers were then summarized by Joel Holtrop, Deputy Chief of the US Forest Service, with an invitation to continue efforts leading to a more complete reporting at the next IRC in Argentina in 2011. Copies of these presentations are attached to this web-site for further reference.
