NR/BZ 380: Global Change Ecology, Impacts, and Mitigation
Overview:Humans are altering global ecosystems, inducing environmental phenomena that are collectively referred to as Global Change. In this class, advanced Biology, Natural Resource and other interested students have an opportunity to learn about the ecological processes of Global Change. They will also apply this knowledge to understand the impacts of global change on various ecosystems, and how these impacts can be mitigated.
This class is offered during the spring semester.
RS 400: Rangeland Improvements
Overview:In this class, we examine the drivers and the ecological processes which contribute to degraded rangeland condition. We explore the objectives and costs/benefits of rangeland improvements. We also learn about the suite of tools used to enhance rangelands for a given purpose.
This class is offered during the fall semester.
